The Sub–user login lets people other than the primary account owner access the Formsite account, forms, and results. This enhancement simplifies the Sub-user login process and reduces the chances for errors when logging in.

For extra security, you can optionally require a sub-user to use two–factor authentication (2FA). After enabled, the sub-user will be prompted to set up two-factor authentication on their next login and, from then on, a code from their 2FA device will be required to log in.

Sub–users are extra logins with access to a Formsite account and its forms, settings, and results. This feature is useful for organizations with many contributors, or as access for agencies with separate clients.

Formsite’s Sub–user features let account owners give access to others for collaborating on forms and results. Sub-users receive either Admin access or permissions for specific forms and their results. This year has seen many enhancements and the most recent one provides social logins for Sub-users. A frequent question is whether to create a sub–user account or a new Results Report for an associate. The difference between the two: Sub–users allow the associate to log in to the Formsite account and export the Results Table, view and modify Notifications, optionally edit the actual form, etc.

The main login page now has a Sub–user Login link that lets sub-users indicate which account they want to log in to. The previous Sub-user login pages will automatically forward sub-users to the new page with their directory information pre-filled, so you can continue to use those links.

To add a social login to your existing Formsite account, log in and go to your account’s “Profile” page. Then, for the “Social login” setting, use one of the enable options. You’ll be asked to log into Facebook, Google, or Microsoft, if you’re not already.
