Logitech has just announced that they are shutting down MySqueezebox.com next month. Their players can still work with a local music library but they won’t be able to access streaming services. I’m curious if someone in the community will come up with a workaround for the different services.

Download and install the Logitech Squeezebox Controller App from the app store for your device’s platform. NOTE: The App will only be available for download there if it is supported by your device. Launch the App and enter your MySqueezebox.com credentials when prompted.

I set-up LMS on a PI, but I am unable to login to mysqueezebox.com account from the new LMS on the PI (PiCore). Response is: Invalid mysqueezebox.com username or password. (Connect timed out: ) No problem loging into mysqueezebox.com directly and login on my old Synology server works fine.

MySqueezebox.com is a free, always-on service provided by Logitech. It can be used, instead of running an instance of Squeezebox Server on your network, to control and provide music to your Squeezebox and Transporter players, with (largely) the same capabilities.

installed LMS to my computer, it wasn’t wanting to login to squeezebox.com, so there were no favorites where it says “Favorites from Squeezebox.com”. Today when it did log in they were there, but I know when mysb is gone, they won’t be there. So what am I doing wrong?

Using an Ethernet cable, I connected each radio, in turn, to the mysqueezebox.com site. I have no idea why, but having succeeded with ethernet connections to my network, I removed the Ethernet cables, re-booted each radio and somehow managed to re-establish a Wi-Fi connection.
