My RBR50 and RBS50 sync the passwords automatically (i.e. the WiFi login password and the Orbi administrative password). There is no password option on the satellite because the router controls both. I recently installed the ORBI (with one satellite) in place of a R7000 Nighthawk. I am running all on a Mac OS environment and the latest ORBI firmware (V1.0.4.34) with essentially minor glitches. However, I am unable to view the sattellite via a web browser.

To change your admin login password: Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the Orbi network and enter http://orbilogin.com. The login window opens. Enter the router user name and password and click the Log In button. Note: The user name is admin. The default password is password.

Launch the Orbi app from a device that is connected to your Orbi WiFi network. Enter the user name and password that you created the first time you logged in and tap the SIGN IN button. The Dashboard displays. In the top-left corner, tap the Menu icon. Tap ADD SATELLITE.
